No Borders No Filter Podcast Trailer:
Living Life on Your Own Terms
Debra
Have you ever felt like you're living by someone else's rules?
What if you could just toss that book aside and start creating your own story?
Hi, I'm Debra, the Experient Explorer, a solo Gen X nomad who's done just that and for decades. My roots are from Long Island, New York, with New York City just about in my backyard. But I've always yearned to explore my spirit and experience the world full-time.
Now I need to talk openly about it on my terms. No borders, No Filter podcasts will be uncensored, evidence-based, with comprehensive views. I invite you to join me as we strip back the curtains on what it takes to travel and live as an expat authentically.
Yeah, it can be challenging living this way, having many awkward and frustrating moments, but honestly, it offers me soulful adventures and making real connections and memories that can never be replaced. I will include taboo topics like politics and religion that affect my routine and life choices, which definitely shape the world around me.
Last but not least, I'll share about leaving behind my American societal norms and expectations that freed me to open up and have many more opportunities.
With a very temperamental introvert and beaver personality type, I feel much more natural behind the camera as a storytelling photographer and a cognitive creative thinker. But I believe in getting outside of my comfort zone when needed. This benefits me as I can go deep into personal topics such as my lifelong mental health struggles with anxiety and depression, my higher education in art and culture and journalism that really helped me navigate and create smarter, better life decisions.
I'll share how to live with your sensitivity and introspection and make it a superpower. I believe that because it really helps me navigate the challenges I have in my internal and external life as a nomad. I'll give you some tips I wish I was given on how to prepare yourself for this lifestyle.
Each episode will be like a heart-to-heart conversation between friends that capture the internal and external battles of being me, the Experient Explorer, especially as the world becomes increasingly more hostile. Let's rethink what it means to truly live without borders and filters.
If you're looking for a connection or someone to identify with or simply a fresh perspective, I've got you covered.
I can't wait to share this journey with you. Tune in for the latest episodes. Let's connect.
